Teenage Love Poems

For most of us, our first dating and love experience happens when we are a teenager. So these teen love poems are a perfect way to describe your dating, attraction, and love memories. After all, sometimes nothing can picture our feelings better than a poem. Romantic love poems or even sad love poems sometimes express the deepest hopes and desires we have so perfectly.

Let Me Take Away Your Pain

Close your eyes and take my hand, let me
take away the pain I see in your eyes
The pain you try so hard to hide, that
eats at you from the inside
The pain you keep hidden, that suffering
of which you act is not there
But I knew you hurt like I know that
yearning in your heart
Let me hold you in my arms, let me make
it easier to bare
I may not be a knight in shining armor
My sword is battered and my helmet
and armor is dented
But I stand here strong for you til
your courage is properly presented
Know that under the clear, lonely, star-lit
canopy
The only thing I desire is this amazing
feeling to continue
Is my embrace enough to melt away the pain inside
you I see?
What bout being you, can I make you smile; can I bring laughter pon your face?
To have your love and give you mine
any day or place
Is a completion in the realization of
a life lived well
Of having a girl in my life like you Brooke
and to the B.S. I say “Oh Well”
Cuz if you hurt, I hurt, let me kiss away
your pain
My heart beats faster, tis you I wish to gain
For you Brooke, cuz you make the
moonlight glinting of waves breaking
off a white sandy beach
Seem nothing in comparison to
whenever our eyes meet

Dreaming of You

Drinking an early morning coffee
As I so often do.
I find my mind wandering, thinking
Longing thoughts of you.

I go about my day doing
All the usual things.
But you are always there
Forever creeping in.

When the night arrives and
It’s time to go to bed.
Even when I sleep
you’re always in my head.

Dreaming all night long
Sweet and loving thoughts.
Daylight comes again once more
Now I can daydream as before!

Today Is the Day

This is the day
My father passed away
July 16, 2008
He entered the Pearly Gates

My heart yearns for
Some words to say
But I come up empty
I need to say

What he really meant to me
This quiet man
Who every day,
Would pray and

Talk to the Lord
Telling HIM,
I want to come
Your way

And with you
For eternity stay
And it has been done
Dad’s race is run

This is the day
My father passed away
July 16, 2008
So, this day

I celebrate and
Pray
That we will join together
Again, someday

Why Is Love?

Why is it that when I think of you
all I can do is cry?

Why is it that when I look at you
all I can do is smile?

Why is it that I think of you
whenever I am sad?

Why is it that I’d like to be with you
whenever I am glad?

Why is it, why is it, why is it?
That’s all I ask.

After You’re Gone

After you’re gone
How will I go to work?
Who will I phone
To talk through the silent evening
After you’re gone?

You’re part of my life,
A piece of my tapestry.
On what rock
Will my castle rest
After you’re gone?

Time will turn
But without hands.
How will I eat
Without my day on your dish
After you’re gone?

You’re the only place
I can put myself.
No hopes or dreams
Can fill my tumbling days
After you’re gone.

It All Went Far Too Quickly

It all went far too quickly when
We started our romance.
We headed for the Broadway stage
Before we learned to dance.

Naturally, we shared the fear
Of being on a limb,
And scared to stay while loath to part,
We felt our feelings dim.

Ah, me! Well, now we’re separate,
And will be for a while.
And then we’ll try again, for love
Remembers its sweet smile.

But this time we’ll go slow and ask,
Before we go to bed,
If we might try some artful grace
And dance awhile instead.

Two Hearts

Two hands to hold onto forever,
Two arms to be embraced by eternally,
Two eyes to gaze into for always,
Two lips to kiss so passionately.

Two souls fused by commitment,
Two names written in the stars above,
Two lives intertwined by God,
Two hearts joined by the purest of love.

I Wait Day and Night for You to Notice Me

I walk down the street, and pass you right by,
I watch as you pass me, not notice me cry.
I see you every moment, yet only in my mind,
I love you more than anything, how could you be so blind?

I wish you would see me, notice me at all,
Even if it means you would watch me as I fall.
I want to be that lucky girl of your dreams,
But only when I sleep, together we are, as it seems.

Whenever I close my eyes I see,
Us together, and you with my heart’s key.
But when I open my tear drawn eyes,
My visions of “us” are a bunch of lies.

I want to sit beside you, and express how I feel,
But the thought of that is beyond unreal.
You and I could be an awesome pair,
I want you to take my heart, and treat it with care.

I want to be your only one to hold and kiss,
But to become that, you must notice that I even exist.
I want to be with you, and hold you tight,
I want to drive over to your house just to kiss you goodnight.

Oh baby, I prayer every night for you to set me free,
And even though he knows my request, he has not answered my plea.
I love you more then you could ever guess,
I want you to take all I have and possess.

What should I do to get your aid?
I try to talk to you, but always become afraid.
I want to express that I love you very much,
I want to hold you, and to always feel you touch.

I want to be with you always and forever,
Walking down the beach, you and me together.
Hand in hand and with our hearts in line,
In your heart, I want to shine.

I want to be able to walk up to you,
I want you to say “I love you too.”
We would be the perfect pair,
Just to think of the love we would share.

I see you holding other girls, and loving them so,
As I watch, I sit on the floor with tears of constant flow.
I can’t give up on you, I can’t continue without loving you,
I just wish that you could see, if only you knew.

But as for now, I can only hope for dreams to become real,
And if it doesn’t, my heart will never heal.
Bring in the finest tools, for my heart’s repair,
But nothing will work, because you are one of a kind and no one can compare.

When We Say I Love You

When we say I love you
we say 1-4-3 instead.
To find out why I guess you’ll have to
Get inside our heads.

Our secret is a sign of more
That lies beneath our souls
In tunnels dug through common ground
By happy, fun-filled moles.

I think, he feels, he thinks, I feel,
We talk beneath our words,
Singing silently our joy
Like mikeless, earphoned birds.

Of course our little secrets are
Quite easy to uncover,
Yet deeper still are wordless things
That hold our lives together.

He Finally Said I Love You

As I looked into his eyes
And found his longing stare
I stopped myself from saying words
That showed how much I care

I put my hands up to his face
To hold my feelings in
I wouldn’t say the words again
To show my love for him

The last time I had told him
How much he ment to me
He put my hands away from his
And said to leave him be

I never spoke the words again
For fear of his deep fright
I thought it was the last time
Untill that blissful night

His fingers traced around my face
Pushing hair away
And I was quite unprepared
For he was to say

My heart beat quickly, My head raced on
I thought that I might cry
He looked at me if he might faint
Imagine this strong guy

But never would be more impressed
With anything he’d do
Than when he took that heartfelt leap
And told me “I love you”

A Kiss in the Rain

We step out of the car and into the street
You can hear it hit softly, like the patter of little feet

It’s such a magical time, like sunset on the ocean
We’re caught in its spell, and we move in slow motion

I move in close, with my hands on her waist
I take it slow, no rush, no haste

The rain slowly falls and the full moon shines
She slides her arms around my neck, and says “your mine”

The rain picks up and it soaks our hair
But our eyes are focused, we have no cares

I whisper in her ear, “I love you my dear
“You will always be smiling, you have no use for tears”

“I will love you forever, is my vow to you”
“You are my heavenly dove, may it always be true”

She smiles at me, with joy and bliss
My lips meet hers, and in the rain we kiss

The rain itself, dances all around
As I kiss my sweetheart, without a sound

The rain glides through the air and I hold her tight
It’s like the angels are crying, such a beautiful sight

Her tongue touches mine and its ecstasy
A kiss in the rain sets my emotions free

She pulls my lower lip and it takes its toll
My whole body tingles, like I’ve lost control

As the rain falls down I just can’t believe
That I need her to move, to think, to breathe

I take a step back and I look in her eyes
She tells me she loves me and my heart just flies

If you believe perfection simply isn’t real
Kiss your love in the rain, and I promise you’ll feel

Many things in this world can wash away pain
But none of them compare, to kiss in the rain

What Is Teenage Love?

Even though teenage love is different from adult love and romance, but it’s very pure and deep – especially for girls. Some people think teenage love is not true love and is not real, but I personally believe it can be even deeper than many adults’ love. It’s true that some teenage people are not very mature yet and fall in love for the wrong reason, but there are many teenagers that are mature enough to experience the beauty and depth of “love” – even more than some of us adults.

Of course, during those years, we should be careful about who we give our heart to, because our love and heart is very valuable and we should only give it to someone who really deserves it. But once you have found that special person, and you are in love, no one can say it can’t be deep and real. So if you are a teen and you are in love, good luck to you! :-) If you’re still in your beautiful teenage years, these poems are even more related to you and will touch your heart and soul deeply. Here’s a collection of the best teen love poems for you to enjoy…
